Alsace

Alsace stretches from south to north along the left bank of the Rhine River and unites the Bas-Rhine in the north and the Upper Rhine in the south.

Being in the northeast of France and bordering Germany and Switzerland, Alsace took all the best of both countries. This is a unique land, which is not quite German, not quite French, but sets itself apart.

A unique traditional cuisine of Alsace mixes French gastronomy and German sweet wines. Alsace Vineyard Route is a fabulous and delightful destination, where you may try relished white wines, walking from town to town.

The region also offers historic cities and castles, and interesting countryside with charming hilly landscapes, vineyards, beautiful cathedrals, and churches. A beautiful collection of forests, landscapes and villages, Alsace lures with colourful costumes and dancing, expressed through its festivals.
