During this brief period of his life in France, Leonardo worked on numerous engineering projects, as well as arranging the feasts for the court of Amboise. You will visit both the castle and the park. Admire the residence of the Italian Genius, getting information about his best inventions on display, as well as discovering a splendid collection of his art including the copy of the famous Mona Lisa. From the window of his bedroom, you can see the Saint Hubert Chapel at the Royal Castle of Amboise, which is the burial place of Leonardo Da Vinci. At the Blois Fine Arts Museum, among the thousands of art works, you will explore amazing masterpieces such as painting and sculpture of different historical periods. 

Complete your tour visiting the Foix terrace, which is over 2,000 square meters in size and is situated in the center of the château. From here you can overlook the old town with a stunning panoramic view of the Loire, the royal river inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
